I purchased Alto only in Feb10 after driving Zen for 10 years,Old ZEN is a royal Car,a trouble free and owners friendly.My choice for Alto come onlydue to my present need,since I have to drive in city only and that too for 20KM daily. Alto is also proved a good one,a simple fuel efficient car,but its pickup is poor.On highway it become bumpy when it cross over 70 KM speed. Second its AC is also less effective for second row riders in summer,more over the fan disturb the attention due to its noise. Further the Maruti dealers creats a lot of misunderstanding & loss tocustomer and MARUTI itself should come forward for transparent deals & for maintaining its clean image. customer

I purchased Alto Flash model in March 10, the car is surely great. I am getting(after first sevicing) 20 km/lit on highways with an average speed of 55 partly with ac. I felt cheated when they launched K 10 model with K series engine which is expected to give more milage with lesser price than Alto Flash (I paid 3.20.They kept this launch a top secret in March, I was even told they wont get this engine in Alto, as I was worried about the emmission standars. Alto has only BIII, but K10 Alto has BVI which is compusory for many cities. But then every one is sure about the old alto engine.No one knows about any repair for the engine within 5 years of purchase. Who knows what will be the result of this K series engines?
