xuv500 is to much noisy

Mr Rajiv. frm delhi, do u even know anything about cars....your talking about a vehicle which has reached pefection and that too by the indian market...i own the top of the line Xuv500 and its not at all noisy....incase u do remember it is a diesel vehicle....navigation and music system r amazin...problem is ppl like u only have the money to buy things wihtout any understanding or knowledge of how to operate things...u have no clue of even how to drive the SUV or how the braking system operates...am sure the vehicle is too high tech fr u as half of all the equipments provided in the car u must not even be knowing how to operate or wat its meant for...its very obvious reading by the kind of english u have used in ur comment...learn more about cars before sending silly comments....and one more thing fool....switch to a old fiat...thats a proper suggestion fr u...u illetrate DELIite...

Agree with Mr. Rajiv, Xuv 500 is over hyped product. There have been many niggles and issues reported in it (read team-bhp forum). It has always been the case with M&M and Tatas to use initial buyers as testers. Apart from external shape (that too is subjective), there is nothing more that a Xuv offers for it's price. It's still better to go for tried and tested Innova or if you still want a M&M product then go for Scorpio.

I am really getting confused over here. I have already booked the XUV 500 and just waiting. After reading this type of comments ,specially testers' i am getting little apprehensive about my choice. Innova is a real good vehicle, but may go out dated within couple of years. Even I heard that they may stop this model in a year or so. Shall i wait for the duster?. DONT buy XUV500 Quality not good Have you ever seen the factory of xuv500 if you see you will never buy a car outside inside looks great XUV500 but see the floor of xuv car see that metal they have used very very cheap it gets junk too early in 8 to 10 months i will give you good advice go to M&M service center and ask the owner of XUV500 abt response and wait for 2 yrs govt have increased the rates in diesel cars after 2 yrs alot more cheaper cars are coming mini suv by maruti suzuki cost around 8 to 10 lacs

Mr Pawar, i can understand the situation you are in. What i meant by the word testers is that Tatas and M&M have used initial lot of people buying their product to sort out niggles in subsequent iterations. Their vehicles might be VFM considering their price but they are not niggle free. I have owned a Tata Safari for last 4 yrs and though luckily i haven't faced too many problems (being decade old model now) but you might have heard same sort of quality issues there also. My suggestions to you would be: 1. Innova -- If you really want a proper 7 seater MPV with superb reliability, space. Though priced a bit high. 2. Duster -- If you want a compact mini SUV with 5 seats, good boot space and some level of ruggedness. Pricing should be known by this month end. 3. Ertiga -- If you want a mini MPV with 5 seats (7 would be tough to fit in) with good after sales and very good FE (but not that powerful). Good luck in your search !!

Cheap plastic, noisy dashboard, manual transmission are thedraw backs of M&M cars and not only M&M but for other local manufacturer as well. You will feel the difference between a car made in India and a car made in USA or EU.

interior plastic fibere is very loo , metal is very low & thin quality , roof fibre is very thin , thats why when it crash its cant protect .
