Hyundai Motor India Limited, yesterday launched its new hatchback i20 in the Indian market . This new car is said to be a better version of Hyundai's last launch i10 and is specially designed for international customers. The new model is appreciated for its bigger legroom space and tougher engine made in par with the international standards. The Hyundai i20 is said to have 3 doors which will be released after the 5door version launch. The new model is going to have bigger inner space and a tougher engine with international standards. With the 1.2-litre petrol engine the powerful vehicle to expected to be launched by 2008 end or early 2009. This new car is targeted to take over the market segment of Maruti Suzuki Swift Zxi and Skoda Fabia. The car will sport 1.4 litre petrol ‘kappa' engine. Overall i think Its great car in comparison of other hatchback.

Go for FIAT EMOTION DISEL MULTIJET ENGINE, If you are conscious about the money are spending.Initial cost, Spares cost,Millege wise Punto is better than i20. Great Car getting a millage of 20Km/Ltr(with AC) FIAT EMOTION DISEL MULTIJET ENGINE rocks.Leaving back all the plastic parts issues, Rest everything is perfect. Great Engine Ample Power,great comfort in seats and space. Bluetooth technology is also very good I connect my E73 to my car, it pairs once i get into my car and its my world inside my car. Great Blaupunkt Speakers. A Car for India roads..Shock absorbers are superb. Great value for money car.
I am planning to buy the i20 magna or sports petrol soon. I want to know which is the best option ? And whether new kappa 1.2lVVT engine will be introduced in the i20 or not. What is the defference with the new model of i20 which was introduced yesterday ?
Good car only drawback in petrol version is its mileage which is very low
The Kappa2 engine would make it on to the i20 for sure but the exact date is not yet disclosed by Hyundai, the new i20 that was launched recently has got an GPS navigation system on it, rest of the car remains the same. Thanks, CarDekho Team

The i20 has loads of space and a 4 cylinder petrol and diesel engine while the Polo has typical German Engineering and best in class fit finish. Go for the i20 if you want a powerful car or get the Polo if you wish to own a German well built car. Thanks, CarDekho Team

Dear User, You can go for Hyundai i20 magna as its maintenance cost is low compared to Fiat Grande Punto Emotion, service and dealership network of Hyundai is more as compared to Fiat and also the resale value of Hyundai i20 is good as compared to Fiat Grande Punto. Thanks

Swift is loaded with all standard features and has sufficient interior space. Hyundai i20 is premium hatchback with all class comforts, great fuel efficient and well crafted interiors, but the cost of i20 is also high. Thanks
