Honda Brio Details Look and Style: Best in class! The all glass rear is most appealing and very far from being fragile. The car also looks awesome from the front owing to its wide stance and large front grills. Another best part is the tyres which are wide, large and provides excellent road grip.
Comfort: Inside the car is very comfortable. Both front and rear legroom are excellent and believe me it easily matches the I20 and Ford Figo class if not exceeds it. I am 5'10'' and while I am driving the car my friend who beats me by close to an inch can sit comfortably behind me. Cabin space is also excellent. The inbuilt audio, though plays only USB, sounds great. You get steering mounted controls in SMT and higher versions. The electric power steering is ultra light yet it provides good road feedback. Riding comfort is very good but not best in class due to its short wheelbase but handling is superb.
Pickup: I find it excellent as it matches my style of driving. Though young enthusiasts may think twice about the low end, but once you are into 3rd/4th gear the car is unmatched in performance and real fun to drive. You can easily beat all other cars of same class engine unless they are being driven by a professional racer. The engine is super silent at idle and you may forgot that it is running at some signal and try to start it again.
Mileage: I am getting 13kmpl with AC on in the city and first service is not done yet. Dont think you should ask for more from a 1.2L brand new petrol engine. If mileage is only what you care for then go for tata nano.
Best Features: Comfort, Interior space, Engine performance, Mileage, Honda badge
Needs to improve: Boot space
Overall Experience: As I gave the title, Honda Brio is the best petrol hatch available in the market in its class. From Maruti only Swift can come to close quarter but it seems Swift is targeting I20 in the price front and losing to much cheaper Brio in the feature front. Though I must admit swift has more boot space than Brio if not anything else. Figo, Polo and Micra are total scrap if you are even thinking of a petrol engine. Brio beats I10 and Beat in sheer space and comfort leave apart the engine and price of starting I20 magna will give you Brio SOMT which has airbag and abs.
I have had a Maruti for six years before I bought this one and I have heard a lot about my Hyundai owner friends. The Honda ownership experience is class apart; trust me on this. Quality comes first on their priority list and not quantity.
