worst pickup

I also satisfied about your review because its capacity is not more better like other small cars in India. I was thought about it for purchase but now I won't go for it.

No body has yet commented that Beat is giving poor milage. How much milage you are getting in Beat.

May be true for low pick-up,may be poor in AC ON condition,pl test drive youself.BHP,engine CC does't give actual pickup performance as body weight and other factor matters.

For all the beat owners who complain about the low pick up let me tell u tha im an automobile engineer and have researched plenty of ways to drive new cars. Every car is unique in itself and so is beat! The car's transmission is designed to give good KMPL even at lower gears that is why it may appear a bit sluggish as you release the 1st or second gear. Just change your driving style a bit and u would find the car to be wonderful. I know it is a bit difficult for the seasoned drivers but give it a try. Start the ignition,shift the gear to 1st, now with your clutch pressed, give slight rpm to the car by pressing the accelerater pedal.Now release your clutch slowly, the car will move smoothly ahead. Same with 2nd gear. Just remebmer, before releasing the clutch, give slight acceleration then release the clutch. Let me know if this was useful to you

I own a beat, I agree that the pick up is low. But I guess it can be improved with the driving style. I am completely satisfied with the car. Very good mileage and comfort. If you guys are getting very bad mileage, am sure its cos of the driving style, Please try to keep the rpm within 2000 to 3000. I drive mostly within 2000 rpm and i get 16 km/l in city.
