Hello Renis, Actually i don't know the maintenance cost, because my car is still in free service period. i felt the front wheel hubs got heated after running long distance compared with the back wheels. so i went in to the Deedi service station, trivandrum. They checked the vehicle and said it's because of the new Disk brake, there will be more heat on front wheels, so nothing to worry and it was a cost free check up. Dileep

Hi Dileep, Did you check the tank full to tank full method, How much Kms have you run in total. I am currently getting an average of 15.5 kms/Ltr at total 2900 km run with full AC on. Please let me know what is your city mileage. I Love my Beat very much and enjoying it.

Hello chetan, yes i did tankful method in last 4 times. my city mileage is roughly around 18 to 19 km. with usually 50% AC. But the above 23.98 was on highway alone and without A/C. in highways beat will give more mileage than city rides. A/C costs at least 2 to 2.5 kms. from a liter. usually company mileage figures are not with ac, one passenger only, and its on test ride conditions not on real roads with heavy traffics. u can go back to the original post all those figures are based on tankful. we cant compare city to city on this matter. usually i am avoiding busy city main roads instead using other byroads to reach city centers even though they are little lengthy, when ever it is possible. my car did around 4000 km. so far.

The Technical specs are the same in both model so fuel economy or riding comfort may not change in any manner. But the LT variant is coming with the following accessories. If we go for these from open market the cost may be higher than what we saved. But of course we have our own choice in brands especially the Audio. LT's Audio is Ok for me but sum people prefer more power out puts and beats so they can go for LS and fit those accessories. Additional Accessories available with LT from LS Body color door handle Body color OVRM Front fog lamp Body colour spoiler Roof rail Interior panels Rear power window Tilt steering Audio system Antenna Boot lamp Rear defogger Rear wiper After considering all these I felt LT is preferable good so i went for that. What Mr. Dinesh said is true, A swiftian for the past 5 years, after a drive in my car told its really comfortable, and never felt like driving a Diesel vehicle. This is higher end technology in diesel engine history.

Shakkel,If you are budget is around 5.5 then please go for BEAR, Trust me its amazing... I bought it 2 months back and enjoying the drive in city & Highway's, in city it gives me around 18,on highway's it gives me around 22(100% AC)

But one have to check the pressure regularly once in 15 days for better mileage and riding comfort, and its applicable to all car tyres. My recent visit to the dealer with a friend for selecting a car for him. And i have asked them but they never heard of a tyre complaint like the one posted above. Any way you must contact others owners in your area too. Dileep

Never brough a beat disel. better to try punto Dynamic. It is having 4 year1.5 lakh KM warrenty. additional prize u need is 1.5 lah.

Hello All, If you go and check swift, Ritz & Beat. When you take test ride first take swift & ritz then take test ride of Beat. Beat is good car comparatively swift & ritz because all feature which is available in swift & ritz same or more features available in beat. Millage is also good(It depends on you how you drive). Price is also less comparably swift & ritz. Chevrolet giving 45000km or 3 years servicing warranty during this warranty your servicing bill is not more than 23000 approx. if it going up company will reimbursement your extra payment. i have already booked my new beat LT.

I am planning for Chevrolet Beat Diesel LS. Do you what makes difference to choose LT model car, please advise me on that. Thanks
