Pros : Good and overall a powerful machine
Cons : Heavy pricing which may not help Indians value for their money
Description : At last the awaiting is over. the great good looking has arrived in India. Also the doubt about the Japanese car maker is growing; Whether they will expliot Indians this time by seeing the Indian car owner's capability and interest to buy cars in such a recession time where other parts of the world are giving a second thought to buy a new car in such a negative time?

great car. good competition for endeavour. it should have been priced around 13lacs to completely capture the market. in the first month in lieu of 5000bookings they would had 50000bookings. toyota is very rigid in there pricing

I have heard from a Toyota dealer in Punjab that the Fortuner will become available with Automatic transmission in India in the August-October 2010 timeframe. There will also be a DVD player and GPS naviation system on board this new model. Can anyone out there please tell me if they have hard the same rumours for the Indian market? I have heard that Toyta is introducing the upgaded model to deal with growing competition from other SUVs in the same segment in India. Kind Regards, Sukhvinder Singh (Norway)
