  28 May, 2012: The next gen Porsche 911 Carrera will be the first model to drive in under the new MoU between Porsche and Volkswagen; the big daddy of Porsche, Volkswagen now is the official importer and distributor of Porsche cars in India. The new 2013 version of Porsche 911 Carerra is going to be the first car that is going to come to India under this pact. Porsche has not done much change to the silhouette of the car ever since its first launch in the year 1963.  Porsche has kept on tweaking the car with major and minor upgrades however this time the German auto major has gone one step ahead and the oily artillery of the car will go under the scalpel. Porsche will also do some minor reformation on the skin level too.

  31st July 2012 :  Jaguar Motors India rolled out the special edition of Jaguar XKR in both convertible and coupe forms. The price tag of the car lands around Rs. 1.27 crore . Both these models come well-resourced with numerous features, which make your ride more luxurious and lavish. The exteriors of the car have been given new stylization with different colors for the convertible hood, 20 inches of Orona alloy wheels and revamped and alluring front lights. On the inside, the new special edition Jaguar XKR models are blessed with Artisan interiors that use scraffito grain leather for the seat upholstery, along with Poltrona Frau Leather head linings, instrument binnacle and rear and door quarter casings. The 16x16 way heater front seats accompanied by a seven inches of touch screen, stainless steel pedals and 525W Bowers and Wilkins sound system add on to the comfort level of the car. Under the bonnet, the Special Edition Jaguar XKR models feature 5.0 litre of direct injection V8 petrol engine that produces 502HP of power mated with six speed automation gearbox. The company has also taken care of the safety department in the special edition and has blessed the models with Jaguar’s Adaptive Restraint Technology system and Pedestrian Contact Sensing system.

  May 3, 2011: The open sports-car Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL 350 was launched in India today at a grand function organised in New Delhi today. The 3.5 litre V6 engine sports car with 315 hp and a torque of 360Nm is a combination of performance, comfort and fuel efficiency. Besides the 18 inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, the car derives many features from Mercedes SL 300 “Gullwing”. The Direct Steering with Variable Servo Assistance is a standard feature of the Mercedes -Benz SL-Class SL 350 that has speed sensitive steering that ensures better control and also imparts agility to the car. The sports car also comes with “KEYLESS-GO”. The Mercedes SL 250 also comes with a sports package introduced in this segment for the first time. The Mercedes SL 250 has been priced at Rs98.50 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

Also the speculation regarding Ferrari California price has finally ended with “red car” available at Rs. 2.2 crore (ex-showroom New Delhi). As per official reports, Ferrari California can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph within 4.0 seconds. Ferrari California in India is fitted with 4.3L V8engine and capable of producing 454hp at 7500rpm.
  
  Keeping comfort, safety and performance as per standards, Ferrari India intends to open one more Ferrari car Showroom in Mumbai soon. Ferrari California in India features front parking sensors, rear parking camera, 4-wheel ABS, dual front side-mounted airbags, child seat anchors and remote anti-theft alarm system.

  The Italian sports car manufacturer Scuderia Ferrari which is well known for “Prancing Horse” logo started the journey in 1929 with main idea of manufacturing racing cars but in 1947 company moved into development of passenger cars as Ferrari S.p.A.
  
  The Ferrari is launching its GT range model, Ferrari California in India which is expected to be the first official introduction of Ferrari cars on Indian roads. The Ferrari's baby grand tourer was first released in global market in year 2009 with a front-engine and two-plus-two convertible GT. It made the first public appearance in October 2009, at the Paris auto show.
  
  The Ferrari California in India is expected to include a 4.3-liter V-8 engine, which is first ever front-engine Ferrari road car to come fitted with a V-8 engine instead of a V-12 engine. Blessed by direct fuel injection system, it produces 454 hp with an astonishing and massive 7500 rpm added with Ferrari's dual-clutch automatic, a seven-speed gear system. As far as official reports are concerned, Ferrari California is capable of flying from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 4.0 seconds. Furthermore, the safety system of Ferrari California includes carbon-ceramic disc brakes and a base that incorporates a new multilink rear suspension.
  
  The Ferrari California exterior measures 179.6 inches in length, 74.9 inches in width and 51.5 inches in height with a wheel base of 105.1 inches. The front track of this popular car measures 64.2 inches whereas the rear track is just 1 inch less i.e. 63.2 inches.
  
  The Ferrari California comes fitted with perfect blend of specifications which is part of brand Ferrari specs.
