any idea, what needs to be done when you shift a car from one state to other. Any other road tax to be paid ? My dad was running the car for 3 years in that state now, i am planning to get it shifted in Pune now.

If you are shifting to another state temporarily then you can drive with the same registration but if you plan to shift permanently then you need to register it on your new permanent address as per the RTO rules of that state. zero
