A peculiar problem with my car is that ever since it hass been bought, I have to pull choke and keep in that state fro approx 45 min ( that too in sunlight) before the car can be up and running. Have tried to address the problem by changing Engine oil and geting carbuerator cleaned several times but to no avail. Please can some suggest the genisis and way out this problem ? Leo

it seems that ur carburettor seting is on the leaner side ,slightly go for the richer mixturer by some mechanic. when u pull the choke u completly block the air supply to the carburettor making the mixture rich. also if ur spark plugs are short or even the plug cords, then change them, this might solve ur problem there was a customer whohad driven hia maruti 800 from mangalore to goa with choke on i changed his plugs then the cords ,his problem was solved zero
