Hi ! I am Dr. Ashim Raj Rana from Darjeeling. I own a titanium coloured Brio VMT. Recently I noticed that while parking my car in steep uphill road in 1st gear or reverse gear without using the hand brake, the car tends to slip off the gear a little and this continues every 15 - 20 secs interval. Other cars don't show this problem. Why does this happen? I have tried this in other vehicles like Wagon R, I-10, Ritz and Figo but none shows this problem....please suggest

You need use the hand brake fully to lock the car while parked on slopes, do try it and let us know.

But it is not normal for a vehicles to slip the gear while parking in slopes....there must be a problem.....may be like compression problems ??? pl suggest
