Tata Indica Vista Safire 90hp GVX is all ready to be India’s new luxury hatchback and is currently offered by Tata Motors India. This is a top variant with a ton of features combining all the elements of style, luxury and performance. At a glance, the car looks great thanks to the extended front end and stunning detailing and chrome plating on the exteriors. This model comes in 5 beautiful shades to choose from. Powering the vehicle is the critically acclaimed 1.3-litre Safire 90hp engine which produces both raw power and staggering amounts of torque. Braking and handling are also good and work smoothly on Indian roads. The cabin space is well designed and seats have been placed very well in order to maximise on boot space.  The suspension system and tyres are also of good quality. Alloy wheels have been specifically chosen for this model. For the safety and security of the car and the passengers, many new and unique features are present.  As for the comfort, BLUE 5 technology has been used and 2 DIN audio player with pumping 4 speakers have been installed in the all new Tata Indica Vista Safire 90 hp GVX. Exteriors

The Tata Indica Vista Safire 90 hp GVX is truly a wonderful car in terms of looks and appearance. It certainly leaves an impression on everyone. Fine detailing and chroming has also been done to make the exteriors look more impressive. The Tata Indica Vista Safire 90 hp GVX’s length, width and height measures out to be 3795mm X 1695mm X 1550mm respectively. The wheels provide a good ground clearance of about 165mm and the wheelbase measures out to be 2470mm. The vehicle comes in 5 elegant and beautiful shades namely Cavern Grey, Spice Red, Jet Silver, Summer Silver and Porcelain White. The front and rear headlamps are the first things that demand attention. The rear has a striking pearl finish while the front has extended multi chambered headlamps. Chrome lining has been done for the hood strip, front bumper and weather strip and even for the fog lamps. The bumpers, rub rails, and door handles are all body colored. Some other exterior features are 7-speed wiper, full wheel caps, mounted antenna, fog lamps, etc.

Interiors

The dual tones of Sahara Beige and Ebony Black has been used as an interior colour scheme for the Tata Indica Vista Safire 90 hp GVX. And as for the seat fabric, full fabric scheme has been used to give complete comfort. This vehicle has got one of the biggest cabin space in it’s class. Plus the interior features such as integrated headrests, cushioned door pads, fabric inserts, vanity mirror, tachometer, make it unique in a lot of ways. Small but very useful storage spaces have been provided all over the car such as the storage tray, pen holder, coin box, magazine pockets. Engine and Performance

The Tata Indica Vista Safire 90 hp GVX has a 1.3-litre engine that is internationally acclaimed. This is a 4-cylinder, 16 valve multi point fuel injection engine and is capable of producing high output and torque. The maximum torque output is 116Nm at the rate of 4750 rpm and maximum power output that this engine can produce is 88bhp at the rate of 6000rpm. There is variable valve timing technology used in the engine. And the engine displacement is about 1368cc . There are a total of 6 gears with 5 forward and 1 reverse that constitute the manual transmission system of the Indica Vista Safire 90 hp GVX.   

Braking and Handling

The power assisted and rack & pinion steering helps greatly for the handling of the car. And for the brakes, vacuum assisted dual circuit has been selected to go with the disc brakes for front and drum for rear brakes . The front suspension comprise of the independent Mc Pherson strut with coil spring and for the rear suspension, semi independent twist beam with coil spring has been installed. And the tyre size and type are 175/65 R14 and radial tubeless respectively.    

Safety features

The Indica Vista Safire 90 hp GVX comprises of all the latest and modern safety features. It has got the front ELR seatbelts and Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution too. A high mounted bulb stop lamp comes into use while braking. Some other safety features are central locking, rear child safety locks, collapsible steering wheel, etc . Warnings for both driver door open and seatbelt not fastened are present. Engine immobiliser also finds it’s place on the car. But the absence of dual front airbags is a big disappointment. Entry to the car is keyless and can be remotely operated. 

Comfort features

A boot space of 232litres has been provided in the cabin of Indica Vista Safire 90 hp GVX. Not only that but extra space can also be made by folding the rear seats in the 60:40 flip and fold. Lumbar support comes with 2 way adjustable setups on driver seat; this seat can also be height adjusted. Power outlets for both front and rear can be found in the vehicle. For extra convenience release levers for fuel lid and tailgate are remotely made. A very good audio player which is factory fitted is equipped with 4 speaker and 2 tweeter system ready to complete the entertainment system of the car. On the steering wheel many audio controls are also there. Some other comfort features includes rear window defogger, power windows, phone book access, digital clock, intelligent rear wiper. Many connectivity options too find it’s place in the Vista Safire 90 hp GVX, for instance FM/ MP3/ CD/ USB/ AUX etc. And the innovative Bluetooth technology allows a total of 5 phones to be connected to the car.
