Maruti Zen Estilo LXI

Maruti introduced the all new Maruti Zen Estilo LXi in the hatchback segment. Estilo has a unique 1.0-litre 67.1bhp 12V K series petrol engine that provides a maximum power output of 65bhp at the rate of 6200 rpm and produces a peak torque of 90Nm at the rate of 3500 rpm. The hatchback returns about 19 kmpl worth of fuel efficiency which is pretty decent for city drives. Estilo also provides SRS airbags to prevent serious injuries to the chest in case of frontal impact. It offers one to choose the colour shades for the vehicle according to the choice that makes it beautiful and super attractive for the eyes. It has two tone colour theme. Estilo also features the MPFI system that offers very good acceleration and performance. Estilo comes with a great number of comfort features, safety features, entertainment features, advanced technical features and smart interior and exterior features. Apart from all these features, Estilo also has Anti-lock Braking System, child safety locks and so on. The hatchback also has some additional features like front power windows and power steering, three-spoke steering wheel, wheel caps, body coloured antenna, rear seat belts, engine immobiliser and others. The suspension of the hatchback is soft enough to deliver a tension free and smooth ride. The front of the car has also got a 3D look that makes it more dynamic. Estilo is a compact sized car. Due to its small size, it is very easy to park in a small area. On the whole, Estilo is a small wonder that offers you a great comfort features and interior but to be very clear its safety features and mileage are not that impressive as compared to the other cars.

Exteriors

Maruti Zen Estilo LXi offers its customers a variety of colours that include Brilliant yellow, Virgin Blue, Champagne beige, Purple fusion, Pearl silver, Bright red, Midnight black, Sparking olive. These colours make your car pretty and nice looking. The headlamp clusters are connected to the three grille strips. The fog lamps at the front are in a 3D style with a rounded shape that assures clear vision even in bad weather conditions. It has two front wipers at the front windscreen. At the back of car it has a vertical tail lamp, turn indicators, back door with body coloured outside door handles and body coloured bumper, brake lights and fog lamps. It has a bold waistline and the wheels are covered with caps that look very sporty. The tyres of the car are sized 145/70 R13. It has tubeless radial tyre that ensures nonstop journey. The size of the wheel base is 2360mm that is pretty good. The overall length of the car is 3600mm and 1475mm measures out the width while the height of the car is 1595mm. The measurements of front track and rear track are 1295mm and 1290mm respectively. It gives a good ground clearance of 165mm that is quite enough for fine driving. The kerb weight of Estilo is about 845 kg.

Interiors

The interior of Maruti Zen Estilo LXi is designed with the all new standard colour coordinated seats, dual tone dashboard, adjustable headrest, floor carpet etc. Air conditioning vents inside the car come in chrome finished rings. It provides enough seating space, however the space is pretty less for passengers especially for those who are tall. Rear seats are foldable that provides more space for keeping the extra luggage. It also provides enough headroom and legroom. The whole interior of the car looks so decent and elegant that makes you feel relaxed inside the cabin while experiencing the ride.

Engine and performance

Maruti Zen Estilo LXI is loaded with the 1.0-litre 67.1bhp 12V K series petrol engine. The engine displacement is 998cc. Its engine cranks out a maximum power of 67.1bhp at the rate of 6200 rpm and 90Nm torque at the rate of 3500 rpm. The car provides an acceleration of 0-100 kmph in just 16.26 seconds which is quite decent. The top speed that it reaches is 160 kmph which is outstanding. It delivers a mileage of 15 kmpl on city streets while on the other side 19 kmpl on highway roads. Estilo has fairly good pickup and acceleration, that is something hard to resist.

Braking and handling

Maruti Zen Estilo LXi has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes that make it easy to handle in panic situations. As far as suspension is concerned, it has McPherson strut with torsion type roll control device suspension in front and in rear suspension it comes with coil spring, gas filled shock absorbers with three link rigid & isolated trailing arm that will provide passengers a smooth and hassle free ride experience. The brake system and suspension system offers one an ultra-stable drive.

Comfort features

Maruti Zen Estilo LXi is a full family car with all the comfort and luxury. Estilo has an air conditioner that cools the compartment in just few seconds despite scorching heat outside in summer and heater for winters. It has the seating capacity of 5 persons. It has power steering and power windows for the front. The seats are more comfortable with the adjustable feature. It has cup holders for the front as well as the rear. It features automatic climate control, start and stop button for engine, low fuel warning light and fabric upholstery. Headroom and legroom provided is quite sufficient for the passengers.

Safety features

Maruti Zen Estilo LXi comes with all the safety features that make your ride comfy and convenient. It has Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), SRS bags, power antenna, manually adjustable ext. rear view mirror.apart from these it also has crash sensor, centrally mounted fuel tank, central locking and child safety locks at rear. An engine immobiliser and a centrally mounted fuel tank are also provided. It is blessed with wipers and washers for the rear wind-shield as well.
