Mahindra Scorpio SLE

This variant offers a 2179 cc, 4 stroke, intercooled, turbocharged, DI engine. The engine uses a unique technology called mHawk that helps reducing fuel consumption via the introduction of a standby mode that permits idle engine to save fuel. Furthermore it also helps the engine consume less fuel than in the normal case.  The peak power generated by the engine is 120 bhp at 4,000 rpm. The peak torque generated is 290 Nm at the rate 1800-2800 rpm. Smooth driving is ensured through the usage radial tubeless tyres. An efficient 5 speed manual gear box is provided that is easy to use. The values of the turning circle radius and maximum ground clearance are highly impressive being 5.6 m and 180 mm respectively. Driving the car is a simple task because of the presence of a power steering that gives the driver complete control. Similarly power windows allow complete control of windows via the central console. Driving in the dark is not an issue with this variant as it has the highly advantageous ?Follow me home ? headlights which glow for a few minutes after parking and ensure avoidance of post-locking hazards. Additionally the car also contains a glowing ignition slot that enhances visibility.
