The Honda Amaze S diesel is the second top end variant in the line up and features more or less all the features which justify its 6,67,000 rupees price for diesel version and 5,62,000 rupees for the petrol version. Honda Amaze S is offered in both diesel and petrol version and the feature set of both the vehicles is more or less the same except for a few technical additions in the diesel version. India being a mileage centric nation is undoubtedly obsessed with having a vehicle which can offer them a comfortable fuel economy and this could be best achieved with diesel over other variants. The Honda Amaze S diesel comes with some of the basic safety features such as engine immobiliser, Anti-lock Braking System, Electric Brake-force Distribution, etc., It certainly remains to be a vehicle worth watching in the present automobile scene.
Honda Amaze S is a really beautiful vehicle which is designed to be a compact sedan. The engine is also capable of churning out 200 Nm at 1750rpm. The diesel variants of the Honda Amaze are offered only in the manual transmission hence the mileage is comparatively huge as the engine power is perfectly utilised. Honda Amaze comes with a very innovative handling system. The vehicle is equipped with disc brakes in the front and the rear section of the vehicle comes with drum brakes. Honda Amaze S comes with McPherson strut suspension in the front and the torsion beam suspension in the rear.
Honda Amaze S diesel is a really comfortable vehicle in terms of the interiors. The vehicle has enough leg room both in the front row as well as the rear row. The head room is also aptly spaced in the vehicle. The thigh support of the vehicle is really decent.
Honda Amaze S diesel is offered with an engine immobiliser and Anti-lock Braking System along with EBD which more or less became a norm in the powerful vehicles. The WAVE key facility is provided in the Honda Amaze S Diesel along with a driver seat belt reminder which comes in handy in ensuring the safety of the passengers. The Honda Amaze S however is devoid of any SRS airbags as they are reserved only for the high end variant.
