Ford Endeavour 4x2 MT comes loaded with the 2.5-litre TDCi with Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) type of engine, which can give a maximum output of 141bhp at the rate of 3500rpm with a maximum torque of 330Nm at the rate of 1800rpm. The swept volume of engine is 2499cc and it comes with 4 cylinders and 4 valves per cylinder. The valve configuration is of dual over head camshaft (DOHC) and the fuel supply system is of direct injection common rail type, which is turbo charged. The mileage given by the diesel engine is 10kmpl on the city roads with 13.1kmpl being delivered on the highways. The fuel tank capacity of the car is 71 litres and the engine norm compliance is of bharat stage IV type. There is catalytic converter as the emission control system which controls the carbon emissions. 

Braking and Handling  

Ford Endeavour 4x2 MT comes with a power steering and tilt adjustable steering column, with steering gear of ball & nut type with variable power, which enables the driver to form a firm hold on the car. The braking system of the car consists of ventilated disc brakes at the front and self adjusting drum brakes at the rear end.
