Ford Classic 1.6 Duratec Titanium

Ford Classic offers you style, comfort and better engine ride. As we already know that Ford is known for their fuel efficient and it seems like the Classic Titanium is going to carry it forward. Apparently Ford has not changed the powertrains filing into the petrol variant, the car is powered by a 1.6L Duratec Engine which deliver the optimum mix of gripping performance and frugal fuel consumption. The Ford Classic Titanium comes augmented with nine new segment leading features, offering best in class features, comfort and convenience. This Titanium model is also very fuel efficient as it delivers a mileage of 21.37kmpl which is the best in its class . This car is attempting to conquer a segment that demands everything, style, engine ride, comfort among other things that make for a good car. The Titanium model is the high end petrol variant so it incorporates all the advanced safety and comfort features that we can accept from a premium sedan.The basic features in this model are air conditioner, CD player, anti lock braking system, power steering and power windows, leather seats and central locking . Exterior

The front fascia of New Classic Titanium is completely changed. The new grille is placed lower and is shorter along with huge trapezoidal air dams and black inserts which give the front a very aggressive look. The new twin-pod headlamps with a circular arc kink look great. The new round fog lamps are placed high up in the bumper, right below the headlights further enhancing the frontal look. In all the front of the car is a perfect combination of style and aggression. The side profile of the car is also good, it has Chrome scalp driver and passenger mirrors with turn indicators, the body side molding is with the chrome insert. Curved wheel arches with the 14 inch alloy wheels add to the beauty. The rear section of the car has chrome tail gate handle finish and very elegantly designed tail lights. Exterior dimensions of the car are overall length – 4282mm, width – 1686mm and height – 1468mm. It has a wheel base of 2486mm with a ground clearance of 168mm .

Interior

The interior of the car has very stylish and graceful with the dual tone interior, designed to make you feel that it is the best buy car in its segment.  It is the spacious car with storage space that can carry your favorite magazine or your refreshment bottle or store anything conveniently in it. The quiet interiors of Ford Classic with comfortable seats reduce vibrations, harshness and body motion of the car and offers comfortable ride. Dual tone interior is in Ebony and Camel color, it also has a soft feel IP topper with the seat trim in full fabric. The centre console of the car has Mahogany wood finish, the steering wheel is leather wrapped with aluminum cuffs. Engine and Performance

Ford Motors incorporated the Ford Classic Titanium with a 1.6L Duratec Titanium engine that has 4 cylinders with 4 valves per cylinder in DOHC configuration . This 1596cc engine has SEFI fuel supply system with a compression ratio of 9.75:1. The engine generates a power of 98.98bhp at the rate of 6500rpm and a maximum torque of 146Nm at the rate of 3400rpm. It is complied with BSIV emission norm which is the Bharat Stage IV which keeps a check over the pollution caused by the internal combustion engine.  The Duratec engine is mated with a 5 speed manual transmission to improve the performance.

Braking and Handling

The front wheels of the car have large ventilated disc brakes while at the rear there are self adjusting drum brakes .  Its larger diameter ventilated disc brakes that is assist by ABS (Antilock Brake System) with EBD that de-accelerate car quickly with the guarantee that car will never skid out of control and enhances safety in case of hard braking. For handling it comes with power steering with adjustable steering column.

Safety Features

Safety has been given a thorough once for the Titanium variant as it is the top end one, it has twin-front air bags, ABS & EBD. Structurally engineered to withstand severe collisions, the Fiesta's crash worthless is verfied with over 400 virtual crash simulations.
