One SX 7 Seating Review
Force One is a premium sports utility vehicle from the Indian automobile company Force Motors, which has been launched in the country's automobile market and made available at a very decent price tag. This sports utility vehicle is bigger and spacious than any other SUV of its class and it is blessed with a powerful diesel mill. This powerful SUV from the home bred auto maker comes with a no-nonsense body design that makes it look muscular and trendy. This is the first SUV venture of the Force Motors in the country. This Force One SUV model line up is made available with 6 and 7 seater option with diesel engine as standard. The Force One SX 7 Seating trim is the mid level variant in the segment, which is priced at Rs. 11.91 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi). The company is expecting to give competition to the likes of Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Safari Storme with its premium SUV. There are several advantages associated with this vehicle out of which, its competitive price tag, high performance engine and lavish interior space are the main advantages of this Force One SUV. Although, the features inside this four wheeler are not up to the mark, it is still worth buying this SUV because of its extraordinary performance. Moreover, the comforts and conveniences offered by this SUV are unparalleled.
Exteriors:
As said above, this Force One SX 7 Seating variant comes with a no-nonsense, muscular and trendy body design, which will get your attention in the very first impression. One should talk about the front view of this SUV, which is extremely sportive and muscular like no other in its class. You can notice a premium grille with a lot of chrome indent on it. The prominent company logo has been well placed in the middle of the grille, right in between the two chrome slats of grille. It gets a simple headlight cluster with projector head lamps inside. This headlight cluster also accommodates LED day time running lamps, which acts as a symbol of status. At the bottom, you can find the body colored bumper with air dam and air ducts accommodating fog lights. These fog lights gets a lot chrome indents on it while the Force One Logo fitted just under the grille compliments the entire front facade. The side profile of this SUV resembles the design of Ford Endeavor. You can find the wheel arch moldings and 16 inch all terrain tubeless tyres fitted to the wheel arches that brings an extreme sports look to the vehicle. The external rear view mirrors are offered in body color and can be adjusted electrically. The door handles too are garnished in body color completing the overall side profile. The rear view of this SUV has been offered with large tail lamp cluster, body colored bumper and rear spoiler with high mount stop lamp.
Interiors:
Force One is perhaps the most spacious SUV, better than any other vehicle of its class. It comes with an overall length of about 4860mm and with a wheelbase of about 3025mm, which makes it extremely spacious from inside. As soon as you step inside this SUV you will notice the multifunction steering wheel wrapped in leather. The gearshift knob too gets the leather upholstery and silver ascents on top of the lever. The seats are offered in premium leather upholstery. The interior color scheme comes in beige while the dashboard too is offered in beige color. The central console of the dashboard gets a wooden finish with multiple functions incorporated on it. The driver seat can be adjusted according to the requirement while the AC vents for all three rows will keep the temperature under control. There is a 12V power socket provided in the first and second row for mobile charging. Apart from these, there are several other best in class given inside this SUV that takes the comforts and conveniences to a new level.
Engine and Performance:
Force Motors has introduced the Force One SX 7 Seating variant with a powerful 2.2-litre FMTECH diesel trim. This is perhaps one of the most powerful engines you can find in the SUV segment. This 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, DOHC, Turbocharged diesel mill has the ability to make a maximum power of about 2149cc. This commanding diesel mill can churn out a maximum 139.1bhp at 3800rpm along with the combination of 321Nm of torque at 1600 to 2400rpm. This engine power is transmitted to the front wheels of this SUV through a five speed manual transmission gearbox. Interestingly, this SUV has got a class leading fuel efficient of about 14 Kmpl to 17Kmpl, which is not usual in high performance utility vehicles. Furthermore, this premium four wheeler has the ability to reach its top speed of about 150 Kmph while reaching 100 Kmph speed in just about 17 seconds.
Braking and Handling:
This is one of the most important part for any four wheeler, especially for SUVs. Force motors opted to use disc and drum braking combination, which is reliable in all conditions. Force One SX 7 seating variant's front wheels have been fitted with disc brakes while the rear wheels have been paired with high performance drum braking mechanism. On the other hand, its superior suspension system makes it very easy to handle it even on bumpy roads. Independent double wishbone with coil spring suspension system have been incorporated to the front axle while the multi link with coil spring and pan hard rod suspension is fitted to the rear wheels.
Safety Features:
This Force One SX 7 Seating variant comes with top class safety feature which include remote key access, driver seat belt warning, reverse parking sensor, door ajar warning, brake pad wear indicator, central locking, over speed warning and several other functions. While the features like collapsible steering, fog lamps, all terrain tubeless tyres will improve the safety of this SUV to a new level.
