India finally too has won this series of some of the most fascinating, powerful, spacious luxury saloon. It has been launched in 4 different variants, BMW 7 Series 740Li, 750Li, 760Li, and 730Ld. Out of these four, the currently being talked about, 750Li is a V-8 engine, running at 4395cc , which has been coupled with a 8-speed automatic transmission. The car can easily reach a limit of 100kmph from 0 in a total of 4.8 seconds. The revamping brought it a better front look, this trim comes with a suave grille, alarm system, adaptive LED lights, fog lamps, electrically adjustable seats, ceramic surround for controls, as a few highlights to be mentioned from a huge list of features. From the rear, the car is as soft as in the front, with a thick chrome band running across the boot cover to add some more elegance to 2013 BMW 7-Series 750Li. Exteriors
The BMW 7 Series 750Li is a pleasing sight to look at while on the road. More than being a car, it is a luxury, an honor, an adornment on the road. As is said about the German car building, yes, this facelifted version is a state-of-art car. It has now been brought with some of the elusive rectifications and thus enhancements. The front has now been given a kind of tough yet sophisticated look with the redesigning, which brings it new chrome-decorated bumper sporting a new pair of LED fog lamps. Though the previous version had the BMW-typical front grille, it has been reworked upon in the revamped version, thus reducing it from 12 to 9. Complimenting the kidney grille are the soothing headlamps fitted with adaptive LED lights. Onto the sides, other than the new indicators along with the ORVMs, what attracts all attention are the 19 inch, light alloy wheels with Multi-spoke style 235 with mixed tyres, upfront are 245/45 R19, at the rear are 275/40 R19. However, no-cost optional are wheel the 19 inch, light alloy wheels with Radial-spoke style 252, forged with mix tyres, where the front tyres will be 245/45 R19, while at the rear will be 275/40 R19. Moving further to the rear end of the car, much noticeable is the chrome band that runs across the car's boot lid, which adds to the rich look of this trim. Overall, the car stands out magnificent with the right curves at the right places, measuring 5219mm in length, 1902mm in width and 1481mm in height , thus giving ample space for a family to make it a second home. With ground clearance, measuring 152mm, is high enough to make a smooth ride.
Interiors
Luxury could simply be a second name of BMW, more so in this particular sedan series. The BMW 7 Series 750Li is, however, more than just luxury. With the way the company has loaded it with space, one can find a home-on-wheels in this car. The rear space has been made much more comfortable than the front. The ambiance is soothing and plush with the comfortable, kingly, leather seats, back and head support, lazy room space for legs, heads, shoulders, thus rendering it a totally convenient, which also includes reducing a bit of space at the front. noise-filters, or call it insulation, is well provided working around B and C pillars. The BMW 7 Series 750Li has been fitted with a petrol engine, which delivers an output of 450bhp at 5500rpm with a maximum torque measuring 650Nm at around a range of 2000-4500rpm. The 4395cc, 8-cylinders, 4-valve per cylinder based engine offers an improved efficiency at 11.62kmpl. Exciting which is! This highly powerful engine is capable of reaching a limit of 100kmph in just about 4.8 seconds.
Braking and Handling
This elegant sedan trim comes paneled with an 8-speed automatic transmission system and rear wheel drive, which makes it a rather smooth saloon as per Indian requirements. Rear-wheel drive blesses it with a jerk-free drive on an otherwise jerk-full road in India, plus the 152mm ground clearance. Safety Features
It's not just comfort that has been kept in kind while designing BMW 7-Series 750Li, it has been made equally safe to drive. Though it is the mid-variant, it is no less safer than the top-variant. ABS (Anti-lock braking system), CBS (Cornering Braking System) , DSC (dynamic stability control) with DTC (dynamic traction control), side impact protector, electronic vehicle immobilizer, crash sensor, Runflat tyres with Runflat indicator, airbags at the front, head airbags both at the front and the rear, side airbags for driver and front passengers, active protection including attentiveness assistant, etc., have all been provided.
Pros: Safety at its best, most comfortable in its class, easy handling, the more-than-perfect engine performance.
