Stile LS Optional Review

Ashok Leyland Stile is the newest MPV model in the segment launched by the Indian auto manufacturer, Ashok Leyland Group. This new vehicle is the flagship MPV model of the car maker and it is built on the design platform of Nissan Evalia. The company rolled out this new model in a total of three trim levels out of which Ashok Leyland Stile LS Optional trim is one of the mid range variants in its series. The company has fitted this mid range vehicle with a 1.5-litre dCi diesel trim, which is skillfully mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. This engine can manage to return a peak mileage of about 19.5 Kmpl, which is considerably quite good in its segment. The company has introduced this new vehicle in the entry level MPV segment with an irresistible price tag, which will certainly lure in families and business. On the other hand, the company hasn't compromised on the comforts and safety aspects of this vehicle, which will ensure minimum safety and conveniences to the occupants.

Exteriors :

This newly introduced Ashok Leyland Stile has been built on the same body panel that is also been used for the Evalia MPV model series. This Indian automaker has managed to give a classy look to this vehicle by decorating it with stylish exterior aspects. On its frontage, this MPV has been fitted with a large and expressive headlight cluster that has a dual tone look. This headlight cluster surrounds a large radiator grille that gets a chrome garnish on top of it, wherein the company logo has been embedded on the hood. There is an expressive design on the bonnet that compliments the design of headlight cluster and bumper. Then there is a body colored bumper that also has an air dam for better air intake. The side profile of this MPV comes fitted with black colored door handles and body colored OVRMs, while the wheel arches have been assembled with 15-inch alloy wheels. Coming to the rear, this MPV has been decorated with small tail combination light, high mount stop lamp and body colored bumper. This variant has a total length of about 4400mm, an overall width of about 1700mm and a height of about 1860mm. The company has built this MPV with a large wheelbase of about 2752mm along with a minimum ground clearance of 180mm, which is rather good.

Interiors :

When it comes to the interiors of this mid range trim, there is ample leg room and shoulder space offered inside, that can accommodate at least seven passengers. This Ashok Leyland Stile LS Optional trim comes with captain seats in the second row, which will offer luxurious seating for the passengers. This new Stile MPV is incredibly spacious and comfortable in comparison to the other vehicles of its class. The seats have been covered with fabric upholstery, which is rather comfortable. It comes with a displacement capacity of about 1461cc that unleashes a power of about 75bhp at 3300rpm at the same time it yields a maximum 185Nm of torque output in between 1750 to 2750rpm. This dCi engine has been skillfully coupled with an advanced 5-speed manual transmission gearbox that releases the engine power to the front wheels and returns a maximum 19.5 Kmpl of mileage. The fuel efficiency of this particular model is good in comparison with other multipurpose vehicles of its class.
