The all new Jaguar F-Type is the part of blood line of Jaguar. This is amongst the most gorgeous cars available in the market. The recently aired video of the latest Jaguar F-type features this car running at the circuit in Spain called the circuit D Nawala. This twin-seat sports car comes with head-turning looks and aesthetically designed body. This car is going to compete with Audi R8, the Porche 911 and the Aston Martin V8.

The advertisement shows that this car is really very powerful in terms of power. The F-Type houses two engine variants; one is 3 litre V6 supercharged Petrol and the second 5 litre V8 supercharged Petrol. The V6 engine churns out the maximum power out put of 380 Bhp with a healthy torque production for a power-packed ride irrespective of the conditions.

The F-Type has been claimed to be the best handling car Jaguar have ever produced and this can be seen in the video as well. One of the factors that makes it possible, is the 50-50 weight distribution that this sports car gets which really makes the handling smooth and it also makes the ride of this car quite solid as it can be driven the best on country roads on, city roads and even on highway.

The video features that this sports-car performs the best even at the corners and does not vibrate at all even if its top speed goes on a test. Its claims a blazing top speed which is enough to turn the the speed-freaks crazy.

  • All New F-Type

    All New F-Type

    22 February, 2013

The Indian owned British car manufacturer Jaguar has been reinventing its performance while maintaining the sensible designing ethics, for which it had been renown for over the years. The advertisement proceeds in the true spirit of racing where a distant closed area is chosen situated between hills and uneven routes giving ample choice for the car to flaunt its performance in a true racing perspective. The advertisement starts of with a sensual lady feeling the exteriors of the car which is extremely aerodynamic and flows like waves in its structure. Jaguar used two of its cars in different colours, grey and red, giving an idea about the way car complements the race. The race, which begins with the lady dropping a piece of cloth, starts with a jolt of speed spurring beside the lady like a breeze of wind. Since the locale chosen is a naturally set racing track filled with corners and tricky edges, the car’s performance in terms of braking and handling is perfectly displayed. The aerodynamic attributes of the Jaguar F-type are also shown by a controlled spoiler to reduce the aerodynamic friction. The rpm increases exponentially with ease and the cars maneuver through the road with improved pick-up. The F-type it available in three engine variants - 3.0 litre V6 Supercharged  335.34 bhp, S 3.0 litre V6 Supercharged 374.79 bhp and the V8 S 5.0 litre 488.22 bhp

    F-Type - Supercharged Engine

    22 February, 2013

The Indian owned British car manufacturer Jaguar is nothing less to the animal itself. Elegant, enticing, quick and unbelievably beautiful are just a few words that describe not just the way a Jaguar car looks, but also the way it rules the streets. Jaguar has been a sensible car manufacturer since its inception. Going through all these years creating innumerable admirers to its design and performance, Jaguar reinvented itself and created the new F-type. The dedication of Jaguar in delivering performance is evident in the way it designs the elements. The supercharged induction technology employed for the engine provides, at all speeds, instant access to torque to high levels. This ensures in minimising the gap between the supply-demand cycle of power between driver and engine. The V6 engine employs forced induction technology thereby delivering smooth performance and refining power efficiently. The V6 engine Jaguar used has a 3.0 litre engine capacity and has roots twin vortex supercharging system. The engine produces 234 gm CO2 per kilometer. The engine comes with 335.34 bhp capacity. Inspite of high power delivery, the Jaguar F-type doesn’t lose control thus delivering specific output even at high speeds. The supercharged petrol engine also helps in reducing the noise incurred in usual diesel variants. The water-cooled intercooler helps in reducing the temperature of intake air so that higher power and efficiency can be attained. The fast-reacting start/stop system also helps in improving the fuel economy by 5 percent.

    Prototype Test - F-Type

    22 February, 2013

Jaguar considered the sports car segment seriously as it created the first two seater sports car in over 50 years, that too totally driver focussed. As the Jaguars chief engineer stated ‘The F-type is engineered to be a sports car first and foremost. It is agile, responsive and immediate’. To analyse the efforts done by Jaguar’s team over years, a record setting German race car driver Christian Danner, 1988 World Sportscar Champion Martin Brundle and the famous auto show host and renown sportscar driver Justin Bell are invited to the UK’s Snetterton 300 circuit. The circuit and surrounding Norfolk roads are specifically chosen due to its challenging cold weather which makes it ideal to test the vehicle.
The variants used consisted of the 3.0 litre V6 S/C engine with 374.79 bhp of peak power and a top speed of an amazing 275.20 kmph. As Christian Danner observes, the vehicle's main asset is its perfect combination between agility, pure power and yet control over the speed. The precision is another key quality according to Martin. The second model to be tested is the 5.0 litre V8 S/C engine which provides a peak power of 488.22 bhp and top speed of even more surprising 299.34 kmph. The V8 engine is one of the world’s all time great motors according to Martin. The lag is considerably nil and as Christian noticed, the car’s automatic transmission rules out the gear adjustment hassles faced by drivers. As a whole, the drivers unanimously voiced their pleasure with the masterpiece created by Jaguar

  • Jaguar F-Type - Introduction

    Jaguar F-Type - Introduction

    22 February, 2013

The Indian owned British manufacturer, Jaguar widened its horizons by getting back to increasing the range of sports car the company manufactures. In its prime, Jaguar Cars chose Martin Brundle to race them to victory in the 1990 24 hours of Le Mans. Yet again the 1988 World Sportscar Champion is chosen to give a sneak peek to the Jaguar’s new F-type. The car is the first two wheel sports car designed by the company in over 50 years. Martin meets with the chief dynamics engineer to explain the specifications and details of this most anticipated Jaguar breed. As the engineer suggests, being a specifically sportscar company, the F-type is the company’s first attempt at being a truly driver focused sportscar. Since the vehicle is kept under wraps, though specifics aren’t mentioned, the first hand experience of Martin, as a passenger are expressed as the vehicle rides through the test facility track. The turns at edges and corners are highly smooth and car turns beautifully. The F-type is constructed of aluminium giving it a smooth and light platform. Being responsive and highly capacitive, the car becomes a perfect choice to feel the pleasure of driving.

    F-Type Tasted on Race Track

    22 February, 2013

When the Indian owned British multinational automobile manufacturer Jaguar decided to test its latest F-type model, it couldn’t have chosen a place better than the Nardo Test Facility in Italy. The F-type was tested with rigorous high-speed tests. The weather the test was conducted in, too was extremely hot helping the researchers analyse the performance of the F-type against all odds. The fluid temperature of car can go up to 150 degrees. The parameters tested included durability, reliability, engine management calibration, fueling, cooling, thermal work so that the car functions with the same elegance and power it is expected to provide. The main intention of the tests were to let the engineer get an exact picture of the functioning of the car through its every moment and function so that the car reaches extreme levels of perfection. Stability at high speed levels becomes a concern to most cars specifically under temperatures where internal functioning might be hampered. But the car is designed to withstand everything in terms of environment as varied as a humid coastal area to the extremely hot middle east. The car is subjected to maximum speeds for as long as possible so that the amount of fuel burned, the time till which the tyres last, etc., are calculated. The passion of creating fast, exotic cars which do not compromise luxury is something Jaguar possesses not just in its ethics and designs but also among its engineers, who try hard to make sure this passion bears fruits. Creating a car which is a thorough sports car which performs with a sense of comfort is a mission perfectly achieved by Jaguar through its F-type.

    Jaguar F-Type

    22 February, 2013

Ever since Tata Motors acquired the British multinational car manufacturer Jaguar, innovation and creation was just a blink away. After revamping the entire functioning of the company, Tata Motors successfully put back Jaguar on the sales track. The company was always sensible in its designs and manufacturing ethics but the Paris Motor Show in 2012 proved that the company can also be innovative by introducing three variants with separate engines. A 3.0-litre Supercharged V6 petrol which further came in two variants of improved power and the third being a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 engine.
The advertisement depicts the 3.0-litre Supercharged V6 engine and employs Forced Induction Technology thereby delivering smooth, refined power efficiently. The petrol engine roars like a true jaguar making the drape covering it flow like waves. Red signifies aggressiveness, elegance and power. The drape covers the car like a magician covering his greatest magic trick. Jaguar did create a magical effect by tapping into the untapped potential of the V6 engine that roars too quick for heartbeats to catch up with. Flowing like the wind and disappearing before being seen, the video not just depicts the subtle exteriors of the new F-type but also the speed and performance it offers. Symbolically, it insinuates that the vehicles disappears due to its high speed and moves like waves not letting the drape fall, fixing it in the air. The new Jaguar F-type teaser is launched to create an anticipation for the car which the advertisement carries with extreme elegance.

    Jaguar XF Expert Review

    04 February, 2013

The German Trinity has been ruling the Indian automobile luxury car segment for a long time and while these companies were earning huge revenues, the the British marque Jaguar was missing out on the hugely rewarding offer. The reason of this loss was because Jaguar was missing the base variant executive luxury saloon market, where Mercedes, Audi and BMW were having a headfirst with 2.0L and 2.2L base variant. Jaguar has finally taken a heed into that direction and rolled out an extremely competitive 2.2-litre diesel XF. Akin to the the 3.0-litre diesel, the 2.2-litre motor is mounted longitudinally and powers the rear wheels. The power and torque figures are marked at 187bhp and  449Nm  respectively and translates directly into a responsive and adequately powerful car.To be true the small engine performance is astoundig and the only time you will probably realise the engine's squeezed down capacity is when you want more urge at high speeds.  The 2.2L engine is way too eager to rev to its redline and pulls the vehicle in a linear manner while it is doing so. The sprint capacity is marked  for 0-100kph in 9.1sec, which is pretty much on par with the rest of the competition. Its kick-down acceleration times are impressive too, which points to why this engine felt so flexible in Indian heavy traffic.
