Nissan has launched the Sunny facelift at Rs 6.99lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base model on petrol. The diesel range’s pricing starts at Rs 7.99lakh. The Nissan Sunny gets changes on the outside and inside. The inside changes include a new in-dash music system on variants below the XV that get Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The XV however gets a bump in that as well with the 5.1-inch infotainment system with reverse parking camera as an extra.

The spy images of the Punto Evo are out and we will share it with our readers too. The new Punto Evo is expected to be launched in August. The changes are cosmetic as the Punto gets a new front end and even revised interiors. Hyundai reaches the figure of 1 lakh units for the Grand i10 in 10 months. The Korean auto maker has had success with the Grand i10 and the XCent and it will carry on with the same with more models in the near future.

Nissan launches the facelift Sunny at Rs 6.99 lakh

Nissan has launched the new Sunny today for Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Nissan has made several upgrades to the existing Sunny, but these are mostly cosmetic. This new Sunny facelift will be available with 1.5-litre petrol (in manual and CVT variants) and 1.5-litre diesel with a manual transmission. There are no changes mechanically in the Sunny, however the diesel’s electronically controlled module (ECM) has been recoded for some minor changes to enhance the fuel efficiency. Now, as per the ARAI fuel efficiency cycle, the Sunny diesel returns an economy of 22.7 km/l, a bump by about 1 km/l. The power ratings of the diesel are the same. Read more
