This week we witnessed the launch of Audi’s most selling SUV Q3 along with the introduction of Volvo V40 hatchback in country. Renault India too launched Stepway version of the Lodgy MPV and is available on the top-end variant of the MPV - RxZ (both 7 and 8 seat options). Good news also for the prospective Datsun buyers as the automaker realizing the safety concerns, has now started to offer driver side airbag on both its hatchback and MPV sibling. The driver-side airbag is being offered on the new top-end variant called T (O) in both Go and Go+. As per the pricing, Datsun Go T (O) is priced at Rs 4.19 lac while Go+ T (O) is priced at Rs 4.81 lac (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi). Volvo India has added another car in its convoy with the launch of V40 in the country. The luxury hatchback has been launched at the starting price tag of INR 24.75 lacs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The car is available in total two trims viz. Kinetic (base variant) and D3 R-Design. The latter is priced at INR 27.70 lacs. This is the third launch from the Swedish carmaker in the country this year after V40 Cross Country petrol and XC90 SUV. Read More

Renault Introduces Lodgy Stepway, Available on Top-End RxZ (7-8 Seat Options)

Renault India has introduced Stepway version of the Lodgy MPV, it is available on the top-end variant of the MPV - RxZ (both 7 and 8 seat options). Also this edition is only available with the 110 PS version of the 1.5-liter K9K dCi diesel. Moreover, this Stepway would be slightly costlier than the Lodgy RxZ 110PS 7 and 8 seater. Read More

Eicher Polaris Pvt Ltd launches Multix, a 'Personal Utility Vehicle' for Rs. 2.32 Lakhs

Eicher Polaris Pvt. Ltd., a 50:50 joint venture between Eicher Motors Ltd and Polaris Industries Inc., has launched the Multix; something they claim to be India’s First ‘Personal Utility Vehicle’. The vehicle shall be developed in Eicher Polaris’ Jaipur facility. Eicher Polaris Pvt. Ltd. has made an investment of Rs.350 crores towards product development and setting up a manufacturing facility.
