Toyota has further exaggerated the Corolla’s ESport variant in the Thai market by introducing ESport Nurburgring Edition at the on-going 36th Bangkok International Motor Show. The vehicle will go on sale on April 1, 2015 and is launched to celebrate 7th place finish at Nurburgring endurance race. Speaking of the prices, in Thailand, the White Pearl Corolla ESport Nürburgring edition costs 959,000 THB (nearly Rs 18.34 lac) and 949,000 THB (nearly 18.15 lac) for the hot Black Mica shade.

Adding on the design changes, at the outset you get beefier bumper, piano black grille and LED projector headlamps with LED positioning lamps. The vehicles also feature all-around body cladding. At the rear, it gets sporty looking spoiler, diffuser and all the badging. Moreover, it rides on 17-inch alloys and flaunts on its front fenders a sticker of the Nordschleife - North circuit of Nurburgring aka the ‘Green Hell’. On the inside, it gets leather upholstery, all-black dashboard with red contrasting lining.

Power in the Corolla ESport Nürburgring edition comes from the same 1.8-liter naturally aspirated Dual VVT-i (Dual Variable Valve Timing-Intelligent) petrol motor. The engine  develops 141 PS at the engine speed of 6,000 rpm and 177 Nm of max torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a CVT gearbox with paddle shifters solely.
