The Japanese automaker Toyota will uncover the updated Avensis at the upcoming Geneva motor show scheduled from 3-15 March. The carmaker though has officially revealed the images of both saloon and estate ahead of their global debut. The facelifted model now gets a redesigned front end, updated interiors and a more peppier engine. The Avensis will also feature Toyota’s Safety Sense technology. The car will most likely be available in UK by June 2015.

New Avensis has been styled and designed at Toyota’s ED2 design studio in South of France and developed by the company’s R&D centre in Brussels. It will be built by Toyota Manufacturing UK at the Burnaston car plant, near Derby.

The new model will deliver innovations in comfort and safety and will feature a new range of engines that promise both performance and efficiency. More on engine and features will be revealed on 3rd March at the Geneva motor show.

While for the customers in India, the automaker is planning to launch a new C segment car Vios in coming months. Vios also known as Yaris, will be pitched against Honda City, Hyundai Verna and other C segment saloons. Recently, the car was caught testing with heavy camouflage on front and rear. If Vios is launched in the country, expect it to embrace the same engine from its little sibling Etios.
