Skoda Yeti launch on 10th September, Jaguar XE coming on 8th

Land Rover has just unveiled its new Discovery Sport— a replacement for the Freelander2, and Jaguar is all geared up to introduce the new XE. This will be the new baby Jaguar and will compete with the entry-level luxury sedans like the 3 Series, C-Class and the A4. This model will help Jaguar capture the numbers and grow a lot faster.
 
In the Indian market, Land Rover unveiled the Freelander2 Sterling Edition. The GLA-Class, which is another major SUV for Mercedes-Benz will be launched on the 30th of September. Maruti Suzuki will launch the Ciaz on the 10th of October. Skoda will be announcing the prices of the Yeti on the 10th of September.

Skoda will be launching the Yeti facelift on the 10th of September. The facelift variant comes exactly four years later, as the Yeti was launched back in September 2010. This was the first compact SUV for the Indian car market and we believe it was a bit ahead of its time. Land Rover has taken off the covers from the new Discovery Sport, a versatile premium compact SUV that is the first member of the new Discovery vehicle family. This will replace the Freelander2 and will be the new entrant SUV for a Land Rover badge. A compact footprint provides seven-passenger seating in a "5+2" configuration. This has a 240bhp turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options, with nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. Read more
 
Toyota Innova Limited Edition 2014 launched at Rs 12.90 lakh 

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. today introduced the Limited Edition 2014 of its marathon MPV Toyota Innova starting from Rs 12,90,947 to Rs. 13,00,710 (Ex showroom New Delhi). This limited edition model gets a new color shade of Bronze Mica Metallic. Available for a limited period between September to November 2014, only 1500 units will be made. The new Innova Limited Edition (LE) is based on Toyota’s widely recognized D-4D advance diesel engine technology. Aston Martin appoints Nissan's Andrew Palmer as CEO 

Luxury sports car manufacturer Aston Martin today appointed Andrew Palmer as its new Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Dr. Palmer, 51, served as the Chief Planning Officer for Nissan Motor Corporation since 1991. He had also been the Chief Planning Officer, Executive Vice President and Member of the Executive Committee for the Japanese auto major. Tata Motors sells 40,883 vehicles in August 

Home grown automobile manufacturer Tata Motors retailed 18 percent less vehicles in August. The company sold 40,883 units including commercial and passenger vehicles,in the month up against 49,611 units in August previous year.
