After the amazing response received by Renault Kwid and the success of Renault Duster, the French automaker has started developing a completely new line-up of UVs to be introduced in the Indian Market. A total of 6 cars are expected to hit the Indian streets by 2020. The first car to hit the street from Renault’s upcoming portfolio will be a premium SUV, which has been codenamed HHA. The car is scheduled for an expected October 2017 launch. HHA will be based on Renault’s immensely successful Captur platform. Following the premium SUV, Renault will also launch an MPV and another SUV, before releasing the next-generation Renault Duster in 2018.

HHA will be Renault’s flagship premium SUV and will find its platform in Renault’s Captur mini Sports Utility Vehicle. The car will be based on Renault’s Logan M0-B platform and will feature company’s iconic European styling. The car is expected to be a seven seater and will take on rivals like Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Safari Storme.

With such high demands, it will be interesting to see what effect Renault’s premium SUV has on the competition, both in terms of features , as well as pricing.
