Porsche reveals the special Panamera Edition

Porsche’s Panamera sports sedan gets new special versions, Panamera Edition, Panamera 4 Edition and Panamera Diesel Edition, to add more exclusivity this touring model. Both the petrol versions come with 6-cylinder engines delivering 310bhp, and the diesel version will get a 300bhp power plant.

The top-of-the-line Panamera 4 Edition will get active all-wheel drive with an electronically controlled, map-controlled multi-plate clutch (Porsche Traction Management, PTM). On the outside of the Panamera Edition, design gets upgrades like high-glossy black trim strips on the side windows, door handles get same colour on choosing Porsche Entry & Drive on the options list. The massive 19-inch alloy wheels on the Panamera Turbo II have wheel hub covers with a coloured Porsche crest.

Step inside and you are treated with bi-colour part-leather upholstery in Black-Luxor Beige with the Porsche crest embossed on all head rests. A Sport Design steering wheel, door sill plates with "Edition" lettering and special floor mats complete the upholstery changes. Standard fitted Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system comes with a 7-inch touch-screen display combining audio, navigation and communication features. Sink into the beautiful sounds of a 585 watt Bose Surround Sound System with 14 speakers.

More technical features for the Panamera Edition are Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Park Assist front and rear including reversing camera and Power Steering Plus. This four-door sports model has been a really important car for Porsche. Whether making financial profits or safeguarding investments for future sports car generations, Panamera has been one a key pillars. A total of 24,864 units of the model were delivered in 2014, China being the biggest market with a sale of 9,250 units.
