Now Get Cricket Updates On the Move as Ford Introduces SYNC with Ford AppLink in EcoSport

Realizing the cricket world cup fever, Ford has introduced SYNC with Ford AppLink in its best-selling compact SUV EcoSport. With the addition of this infotainment system, the passengers can now get updates from ESPN Cricinfo while on the move. The SYNC with Ford AppLink is offered on the Titanium variant of Ford EcoSport and is made available  across all dealership in the country.

After the 2014 Ford Fiesta, EcoSport is the second product to feature this award-winning in-car technology which offers customers a connectivity to access their favorite smartphone apps.

Anurag Mehrotra, Executive Director Marketing Sales and Service, Ford India said, “Introduction of Ford AppLink™ enhances the value proposition offered by Ford EcoSport. Consumers today are leading an increasingly connected lifestyle and wish to stay up-to-date even while on the move. Ford AppLink addresses this unmet need and helps them stay connected without ever compromising on convenience.”

Apart from the ESPN Cricinfo, other mobile phone application available on Ford AppLink include a location-based app ‘Explore’ by MapMyIndia and a global, secure location sharing app – Glympse. The automaker is also working with several app partners in the country and across the globe to add to the list of Ford AppLink™ compatible apps.

Moreover, in the recent spied images of 2015 Ford Figo hatchback, a mobile docking station instead of SYNC system was clearly spotted. The automaker might introduce the SYNC system in Figo duo at later stages once the EcoSport’s and Fiesta’s system are updated or company might introduce it at the launch, maybe in an optional top-end version.
