BMW has launched the new Mini range in the country at a price of Rs. 31.85 lac (3-door) and Rs 35.20 lac (5-door) (Ex-Showroom, pan India). The next-gen hatch comes with three trims - One, Cooper and Cooper S. This year Mini also introduced first-of-its-kind Mini 5-door globally and along with new 3-door, 5-door has also arrived in India. The legacy that Mini inherits from its ancestors is carried forward in the new Mini as Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India,  said ‘Mini never stops, Mini never Rests, Mini never stands still - the signatory go kart feeling’.

On the design front, the hatch continues to carry footprints of its clan - short overhang and crisp proportions - the trademark Mini looks. On the inside, the instrumentation cluster is shifted behind the steering wheel and instead of central instrumentation cluster in previous cars, there’s Mini central display which shows current information and can be used for entertainment. It comes with 6.5-inch touchscreen and an optional whooping 8.8-inch widescreen version of it. Other standard features include, Mini navigation, Mini head-up-display, park assist and rear-view camera, etc. There’s also Mini driving mode - you can change interiors lighting, engine sound and driveability. On the safety front, dual-front airbags, side curtain airbag, three-point automatic seat belts and tyre pressure control as standard.
