The 2015 Nissan GT-R will go on sale at all Nissan dealerships in Japan from today. The 2015 GT-R brings in dramatically improving ride quality, significantly reduced noise and vibration, recalibrated suspension for a more sophisticated ride and better road holding, LED headlight technology, and distinctive front and rear designs, Bose Active Noise Cancellation system, new premium interiors, 11-speaker Bose sound system, rear view monitor, carbon-style instrument cluster and a new Ivory interior color option.

On the styling department, the new four-LED headlights feature an Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) that automatically adapts the angle of the light beam at high speeds, signature four-ring taillight now forming coherent circles of illumination, lightweight carbon fiber trunklid with the Track Edition, optional Premium Interior Package, offered in both Ivory and Red Amber, includes semi-aniline leather appointments with hand-stitching on the front seats, along with accents on the instrument panel, steering wheel, door trim, armrests and shift knob.

Mechanical changes include the 4-wheel independent suspension fine-tuned to reduce load fluctuation between the four wheels for better handling and more grip. Built on an exclusive Premium Midship platform, the 2015 Nissan GT-Rs makes use of the unique independent rear transaxle ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system. The 2015 GT-R will be available in three variants - Premium, Black Edition and Track Edition and all are powered by the 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine. The V6, mated to a paddle-shifted sequential 6-speed dual clutch transmission, puts out a maximum power of 545 hp and a peak torque of 628 Nm.

The GT-R Black Edition includes special lightweight black aluminum forged RAYS wheels, red and black interior, Recaro leather-appointed seats and a unique dry carbon fiber rear spoiler.

The limited-production Track Edition features a specially tuned suspension, special brake cooling guides, front spoiler with carbon fiber air ducts, special blue-trimmed high-grip seats, lightweight carbon fiber trunklid, heated front seats and the addition of rear seats.
