Maruti India,s largest car manufacturer is Planning to launch new versions of its some of the most popular models like Maruti Alto and Maruti Wagon R. The new model will be launched with new generation K-Series engine. Maruti Alto and Maruti Wagon R are most popular car models in Small car range. According to news reports the company will soon discontinue Its old F-series engine in Both of the models.
According to the company these new models which are coming with new K-series engines in both the models will be competitive to the new emission norms which came into effect in 11 Indian cities starting from April 2010. Though Maruti hasn't reveled anything about the pricing of the model but it is expected that the price of the both of the models will increase due to new engine and some new features.
