We have continuously been keeping you updated about the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Think Big Challenge Season 3. Finally the competition completed its ‘Mainline’ category and the coveted title was won by Varun Chandra from Guwahati for his big idea of Voice Biometric Platform.
He won Rs. 10 Lakh along with a brand new Maruti Suzuki WagonR and also an opportunity to win a venture capital. Further his winning idea also gets incubation support worth Rs. 50 Lakh for a year. Gracing the occasion was the VP, (Marketing), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Manohar Bhatt and the eminent film actor, R Madhavan. The winner was selected by eminent panel of judges which included, Shailesh Vickram Singh, Executive Director, Seed Fund Advisors; Arvind Jha, Director & Co-founder, Movico Technologies (P) Ltd / Director, LAVA International (P) Ltd and Abhik Ghosh- CEO & Co-founder of AG Knowledgetech.
Mr Bhatt, speaking on the occasion said that this year’s WagonR Think Big Challenge had brought in even more objectivity and focus towards the participants from specific target groups. The ‘Young-Turks’ category which was introduced this year, helped budding entrepreneurs among the college students.
