Maruti Suzuki Q4 Profits Down by 3 PC at Rs.638.9 Crore

India's  small car giant Maruti Suzuki India has reported a revenue decline of 3.04 percent meaning Rs.639.8 crore rupees for the fourth quarter of FY 2011-12. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 659.9 crore in the same period of previous fiscal. Maruti India net sales have surged to Rs.11,486.4 crore for the fourth quarter, as compared to the previous Rs.9,796.7 crore in the equivalent period of previous fiscal. For the period ended at March 31, 2012 the company has recorded a net profit of 1,6351 crore down by 28.55%  in comparison to the Rs.2,288.7 in the previous fiscal year.

Maruti Ertiga

Maruti Suzuki net sales were tagged at Rs.34,705.9 crore for the 2011-12 year as against the Rs.35,849 crore in the 2010-11 year.  The company has proposed to give out 150 percent (Rs. 7 per share of face value Rs.5 each) for the 2011-12, the dividend paid in 2010-11 was also the same. In the last quarter of 2011-12 the company clocked in sales of about 3,60,334 units in comparison to the 3,43,340 units in 2010-11 period, registering a growth of 4.9 percent. MSI is planning to turn the tables with the recently launched Maruti Ertiga, the bookings have already crossed a figure of 15,000 in the span of seven days, after the car was globally launched in India.
