Mahindra may bring mini SUV by 2013

Indian car maker Mahindra is experimenting with its cars in India in order to decrease size and price and this new trend seems to grip Mahindra cars in the future. Keeping in purview that Indian car buyers are constantly in search for compact cars at low prices, Mahindra is all set to surprise Indians by launching a mini version of its SUV in near future. The new Mahindra SUV price is expected to be below Rs 5 lakh. Mahindra is expected to come up with this new compact sized SUV by 2013. As per reports the new Mini SUV could be Mahindra Scorpio Mini. Notably, Mahindra is expected to launch Mahindra Xylo Mini soon. Mahindra Xylo Mini price is expected to be around Rs 6 lakh.

This new Mini SUV by Mahindra is expected to be a 5 seater car and is believed to be less than 4 meters in length. The length is kept short to evade custom duties imposed by the government on cars which are sized over 4 meters. The engine in the new SUV will also be powered with 1.5 Liter common rail diesel engine. During the launch of Mahindra & Mahindra Mini SUV in 2013, it is even speculated that Mahindra and Mahindra may also bring a new model of small car too. Mahindra Xylo Mini MPV which is a small sized MPV is expected to be launched shortly. Next to Mahindra Xylo Mini MPV launch Mahindra seems to have a small-size sedan on the cards and it is expected to be Mahindra Verito Compact Sedan.

Mahindra Mini Xylo price is expected to be around Rs 6 lakh which is very cheap for an MPV. With so less price every car lover might be wondering about the engine configuration of Mini Xylo. A 1.5 Liter common rail diesel engine derived from Mahindra Xylo and Mahindra Scorpio will power Mahindra Mini Xylo MPV.
