We just got our hands on some exciting piece of information on Hyundai cars for the Auto Expo. Hyundai India has four car models this time up on its sleeve for the 2012 Auto Expo. Hyundai i20 is one, we already spoke about this morning, then again there is another facelift we are about to see at the 2012 Auto Expo and that is the most acclaimed Hyundai i10. The show stopper from Hyundai will be the Veloster Coupe to create nothing but a revolution in the Indian car industry. There had been some rumours about a compact SUV from Hyundai under four meter in length for India, well looks like Hyundai is going to take a shot at it.

The Hyundai Veloster Coupe is most likely to leave the spectators spell-bounded with its striking good looks. The three-door coupe with a comfortable seating arrangement for four is an outright deviation from what we see in the usual Hyundai cars. The rear seats in the cleverly laid out interiors are foldable to provide enough boot space whenever required. It is the central console and the dashboard of the car that takes the prize. It is as if the whole beauty is focused in that area where the coupe is literally fraught with all the techno gizmos. The LCD screen is all that is needed to control the audio and navigation on the car. The central console comes well equipped with the USB slot and Bluetooth-enabled, the latter to have a hands-free access of the mobile phone while driving. A 1.6 L Gamma D-CVVT petrol engine powers the car and expected to be high on performance to match its sporty looks.

Indian car industry has undergone a revolution and its time we see new genre in the making in the domestic car market.  Hyundai India doesn’t seem to be the one to let go of such opportunity.  A compact SUV still in the concept stage is expected to be displayed from Hyundai Motors. Though the upcoming auto Expo will fill us with more details on the concept SUV, until then we might assume it to come powered with a 1.2 L petrol engine and a 1.5 L diesel engine given the sub-four meter size. Hyundai Motors is going big on its ‘Fluidic’ design, which can be expected in the new Hyundai i10 and new Hyundai i20 to be introduced at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo. So, it will be basically along the new headlamp, grille and foglamp design is where we might see a pronounced change.  Hyundai did not seem to be interested in launching a diesel variant of the Hyundai i10, so can rule out the possibility. More of a shallow makeover to bring a new look to the car is what the car manufacturer has in mind for the moment.
