Honda Mini MPV is meant to carry every requirement you wish for. From your family to your luggage, everything can be fitted and occupied in the new car, which will be launched by the Honda soon. The car is meant to give a tough competition to the existing Suzuki Ertiga which is also in the same class of MPV. Ertiga is the only car for which Maruti created a complete new niche. The car has a record of bookings over 32,000 of units in just a month of launch of the car. The B+ hatchback segment car shares the same platform with Maruti Swift. Ertiga has been manufactured for India unlike other cars which are launched in other countries and later on they are revised as per Indian requirements.

The Honda’s new mini MPV will be based on the Honda’s Concept S, which has been displayed at the Beijing motor show last month. The information of the car has not been revealed by the company but the launch of the Honda mini MPV is sometime next year in China which means the vehicle will be launched in India soon after with a different name probably. To compete in the global and developing markets like China, India and Russia the Concept S has been developed on the global platform. The Japanese car manufacturer giant is developing a 1.6 litre diesel engine for the next generation sedan class cars including Honda Civic and City but the petrol engine is same as that of Honda City which is a 1.5 liter engine. The production version will be totally based on the Concept S and will have a big boot space to occupy the third row seating comfortably. The launch of the car will be in or around 2014. The price of the Honda mini MPV can be Rs. 10 Lakhs.
