The inauguration adds to the presence of General Motors in India, taking the total number of sales and service outlets to 235.

The new dealership M/s Group Engineers Corporation located at Prem Nagar Junction in Port Blair, Andaman &Nicobar will have 3S facilty- Sales, Service and Spares, official release from General Motors said. In order to explore the market in Andaman, General Motors has decided to showcase all its models including Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Beat, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Tavera, Chevrolet Optra, Chevrolet Captiva, Aveo and the Aveo U-VA at the dealership. A wide-range of accessories will also be on display for sale at the dealership, said the release. The new dealership will also be providing after-sale service for the said brands. Besides, the company also runs a 24x7 call Centre to attend to all customer queries.

Similarly, the General Motors aims at increasing its dealership and 3S facility to 300 centers across India by the year end. This would be part of campaign on the occasion of General Motor's 14 years of completion in India and Chevrolet's completion of 100 years globally. Since the launch of Chevrolet in 1996 three of its brands- Tavera, Cruze and the Beat have been very successful in sales besides other brands. The Car Company has its manufacturing facilities located in Halol, Gujarat and Talegaon, Maharashtra where it produces Chevrolet Captiva, Chevrolet Optra, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Aveo U-VA, Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Tavera for sale in India.
