Ford to Showcase a Rally-inspired Focus ST at SEMA

Ford Motor Company will be showcasing a rally-inspired Focus ST at the annual SEMA show, taking place between November 3 to 9 in Las Vegas. The teased car will be showcased alongside other Ford tuned cars that could include customized and tweaked Mustangs, F-150 pickup truck, Fiesta STs and a lot more coming from the manufacturer’s performance wing.

This one-off Focus ST rendering features aggressive styling that include red highlights on a white paint scheme, a sharper front end with a sleek lower lip splitter, side and rear spoilers. The front grill depicts an LED bar light, as seen on many modified Mahindra Thars here. The car rides on huge 19-inch graphite-finish wheels, wrapped by Nitto NT555 tyres.

The insides of the car will be getting adjustable racing bucket seats with four-point harnesses, and to ensure safety, it will be fitted with four-point roll cage. While creature comforts like LED interior lights and music system will be present to keep the occupants entertained, if only they could concentrate as the vehicle's engine will be louder than the music system.

Powered by a 2.0-litre EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine that is plonked with performance intake system, a sports exhaust system and a better aluminium intercooler. Power figures are pegged to go over the current 252 Bhp and 366 Nm of torque. And to keep this hot head planted, there is a set of performance coilover suspension, slotted rotors and pads.
