Ford India today unveiled a new variant of Ford Endeavour, Ford Endeavour 4X2 AT, with 3.0 litre diesel engine coupled with a five speed automatic gearbox; the new transmission system features the overdrive switch on the shift lever – to deliver a highly responsive drive. The new entrant in the Ford Endeavour family is loaded with a 3.0 litre, DuraTorq TDCi (common-rail) engine with the Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT). This powerhouse of the SUV lays out a top power of 156 Ps 3200 rpm and an amazing torque of 380 Nm at 2500 rpm.

The SUV-Ford Endeavour 4X2 AT is priced at Rs 17,88,760 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Ford Endeavour led by the J.D. Power Dependability Survey report for consecutive three times since 2007, is now added with a number of advanced and exciting features such as ABS and EBD, dual-stage front air bags that work in conjunction with three-point safety belts and pre-tensioners and load limiter. Apart from these safety features, the eye-catching SUV comes featured with the ergonomically designed leather upholstered seats, a 6-CD changer music system, DVD player and environmentally friendly dual air conditioner. The new sibling in the Ford Endeavour range is equipped with illuminated scuff plates, a titanium-finished instrument panel, sports pedals and a stylish side body cladding. The SUV comes in five exterior body colour choices- Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Sea Grey, Panther Black and Morello.
