Lamborghini, the Italian supercar maker, is witnessing frequent accidents in India and the latest took place when an orange Gallardo went into flames. The mishap happened when the owner of the car was driving it back home after servicing near the Badarpur region.

The car reportedly caught fire after the flames started rising from the engine bay. Luckily, the owner of the car was able to escape on time and helplessly watched his car burn till the extinguishers arrived. The images show that only the hind part of the car has been burnt that included the 5.2 litre V10 motor. The engine’s major components looks widely affected by the fire and seems irreparable. The car will probably go back to Italy so as to get back on road.

Apart from this one, that has to undergo a research by Lamborghini so as to make out how the engine caught fire, the capital has seen a lot of supercar accidents in this year alone. This, however, have raised question both on the manufacturers and the people who drives these fast cars.

Other incident include a special edition Gallardo that got wrecked in an accident a few years back, killing the driver. While in an another incident, a valet driver crashed one while trying to take the car towards the hotel’s parking lot. Another one took place near India Gate when a driver lost control of his Murcielago and crashed it into a tree.
