Exclusive: Nissan Evalia Launching on 25th September

We have been constantly reporting about Nissan Motors much awaited MPV, the Evalia and the stories surrounding it. Today we bring to you the news for which everybody is eagerly waiting, Nissan is all set to launch it on 25th September. And the information has been disclosed to CarDekho by our trusted sources.

Nissan Evalia

Nissan Evalia is an outcome of the work done in JV with Ashok Leyland, it will house the similar 1.5-litre dCi mill that currently powers the Sunny, Micra. Pulse and several other Nissan-Renault vehicles. It has got the competency to churn out the maximum of 85bhp that makes it as fuel efficient and powerful as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, while in terms of spaciousness, it scores over most MPVs available in this price range.

Earlier Codename as NV200, it was showcased at this year's Indian Auto Expo held in Delhi, and it was considered as a probable threat for other MUVs and MPVs available in the sub-continent including the Toyota Innova and the Ertiga, which is doing great. The Nissan Evalia will be the First MPV which will have the sliding doors in the price range it falls. It is expected to be priced between Rs 8 and 10 lakh, which will surely give it a competitive advantage.
