Ever since Auto Expo, the Big Three – Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz have been on a launching spree. Speaking in this context, after the X5 its time for its younger sibling X3. BMW drives in facelifted X3 at 44.90 lakh (Ex-Showroom New Delhi), company has shredded the 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine from the X3. Moreover, the retained 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo is tweaked to deliver more power while delivering slightly more fuel efficiency. The X3 is available in two variants xLine and Expedition.

Speaking about the safety front, the new BMW X3 offers standard driver and front passenger airbags, head airbags for front and rear passengers and side airbags for front passengers. ABS with brake assist and run flat tyres are the highlights on the X3. The Audi Q5 on the other hand also comes with standard airbags, that include driver and front airbags, front and rear side airbags along with head airbags. Mercedes Benz M Class comes with a standard 7 airbags, namely, front dual stage airbags, two larger window airbags, while it also gets a knee airbag missing in the other two. Merc also offers various assisting features like, Attention Assist, Collision Prevention Assist,etc. Furthermore, all the three SUVs offer plethora of protective features.
