The Audi RS Q3 is already a beefed up car, but ABT Sportsline thinks there is more work to be done. The Germany based tuning company, ABT Sportsline, has further extracted 100bhp from the RS Q3’s engine. In total, the SUV now develops 410bhp of maximum power and a mammoth 530Nm of peak torque. “What’s special about it is the ABT Engine Control, a control unit we developed that includes its own software. We thus combine maximum power with maximum dependability,” says Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO, ABT Sportsline, of the globally largest tuner of cars produced by VW and Audi.

And it is just about extracting more power from that 2.5 litre TFSI engine. Thanks to height-adjustable sports-type suspension, the ABT RS Q3 can also handle winding bits of the road. And in terms of “overtaking prestige” ABT has outfitted the RS Q3 in a way that would make you trade your kingdom for it. The aerodynamics package by ABT includes front skirt, grille and rear skirt. A sporty decal set and 21 inch ABT DR Alloy wheels and an ABT rear skirt set including a stainless-steel four-pipe exhaust system.

ABT Sportsline had revealed the RS Q3 at the Geneva Motor Show 2014. Advanced chip tuning is ABT’s forte. The ECU is the electronic brain of the car responsible for receiving, analysing and translating all the relevant data and parameters like engine temperature, air and fuel mass. This optimisation is the job of the specially developed ABT Power Software. This ensures an ideal performance at equally ideal fuel consumption levels and also sees to it that the engine is not get worked up too hard. ABT Sportsline offers a 2 year warranty up to 100,000 km from the date of registration of the vehicle.
