A new electric car manufacturer, Bavina Cars India is planning to launch a new electric car in Indian market. The compaby official said that company is currently setting up its new manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu. He added that the company will launch its new electric car in Indian market by the mid of 2011. The State government of Tamil Nadu has already allotted near by 100 acres of land in its Special Economic Zone in Ranipat that is currently being promoted by the State Industries Promotion Corp of Tamil Nadu. The company had planned to invest initially around Rs 300 crores and will roll out around 25,000 units of bikes annually from 2011.

Renault and Nissan group of companies are planning to launch three of its electric cars in India by 2012. This new car version is about to e launched in the 2012 Olympic event which is going to be held at London during the year 2012. Now for the easy charging of the cars, quick charging stations will be set up in and around the London area. Moreover some quick charging stations are also built up so that the car can move upto a distance of 100 miles of range.
