The Lexus LF – C2

The Lexus LF C2 is a preview of Lexus’ future design language. The interiors look futuristic giving the occupants a feel of being cocooned in a space ship. The golden paint scheme in which it was displayed had us in awe of the car.

The Audi Prologue

This one sure was a stunner with its beaming headlights and technology. Audi says this design language will be seen on the upcoming Audi A8, A7 and maybe the A9. The Audi prologue is touted as the Mercedes-Benz S Class coupe challenger and with the specifications it has on paper, we have no doubts.

Chevrolet Chaparral 2X GT6 Vision Gran Turismo

Talk about futuristic looking cars and this one surely takes the prize. This was also the only concept car with the longest name at the show! This comes as a result of Chevy joining other OEMs as one of the contributors to the Gran Turismo video game. The design is inspired by a wing suit and the car is (hypothetically) driven with the driver laying down on his or her stomach. How comfortable would one be, we can’t say, but this one surely had heads turning.

Mini City Surfer

Mini City Surfer

MINI didn’t get a car, rather they got a scooter at the LA Auto show. Called the Citysurfer, it weighs around 40 pounds with a top speed of 24kmph. It is foldable and can easily fit in the boot of the MINI. The cool part about the city surfer is that it has a round headlamp, five spoke wheels and Union Jack graphic on the platform.

Scion iM concept

This one is a modified version of the Toyota Auris, which is to hit the production lines in the US pretty soon. Though the concept displayed at the auto show is much beefier with oversized wheels, slammed suspension and aggressive ground bits, the production variant will be toned down. Price, powertrain details will be revealed later in 2015.
