Suzuki Motor unveils a new concept model iM-4 at the 85th Geneva Motor Show. The sub-four meter SUV is company’s vision for a new compact 4x4 which features a rugged DNA coupled with latest technology. The iM-4 concept is based on the theme of ‘Shape the Inspiration’ and with 4x4 element, it adds fun in driving.

The car boasts high ground clearance, 4x4 mechanism, cutting-edge technology with a new-generation platform and SHVS mild hybrid system which deliver excellent fuel consumption with low CO2 emissions. With the new 4WD system, the car offers driveability comfort that lets you confidently drive in snow and on unpaved roads.

Dimension wise, car measures 3,693 mm in length, 1709mm in width and 1,566 mm in height. The large wheelbase of 2,438 mm adds comfort for rear passengers.

On the exterior side, iM4 features blacked-out A- and B-pillars, clamshell bonnet and front fender garnishes incorporated throughout the vehicle. Apart from this flared bumpers, 18-inch wheels with five-trapezoid design and side body moulding, adds more to its elegant design character. Under the hood, it gets 1.2-litre DUALJET engine + SHVS with 4WD transmission gearbox.

The company also uses new-generation platform which is designed to efficiently increase rigidity while reducing weight via a fundamental redesign. This also improves fuel efficiency, safety, handling, stability, and NVH performance across the board.
