The next C-Class will sport a 7-inch free-standing central display as standard and an optional 8.4 inch color monitor. It also features an optional head-up display and a touch-controlled pad. An advanced AC system which works with GPS to detect tunnels is also added to the cabin. The front passenger seat of the vehicle also has a sensor which disassociates the front passenger airbag if it finds a child seat is in place.

With the use of new aluminum hybrid body, the next C-Class is around 100kg lighter than the current model. It now features a new four-link front and five-link rear suspension with aluminum components. The new C-Class is the first vehicle in its segment that can be fitted with an air suspension (AIRMATIC) on the front and rear axles.

The company hasn't revealed much about the engine lineup for the new C-Class, but we expect it to get the familiar range of 4-cylinder and V6 gasoline and diesel units. It is also speculated that a new hybrid version of the car will also be available at the time of its launch.
