Electric Turbo Charger

As per the reports, the new Audi Q7 is getting an electric turbo charger which will dramatically reduce the initial turbo lag which the automobile industry is wrestling for decades. The electric turbocharger is induced alongside the gas charged turbo. Most of the time the electric turbocharger remains in-active; only to be active at low speeds or when moving from stand-still when the exhaust gases doesn't have enough grunt for the turbos to get in action. Audi has been testing this system from couple of years now. Electric turbo charger is similar to the recently unveiled Audi RS5 TDI concept.
