Volkswagen Middle East has launched an all new Passat, which is better in style, more luxurious than before, thus a class apart. The all new Volkswagen Passat will be closely competing with the likes of Toyota camry, which is the best selling car of the segment there in the middle east. Stefan Mecha, MD, Volkswagen Middle East said that the German brand is eyeing to take the sales volume up to the next level in the Middle Eastern Market, and after the Passat, they are planning to bring in the Polo Sedan in September this year.The launched Passat version is not the European one, but the North American and the Chinese version having an extended wheelbase, which makes the seating more comfortable than before.
Housing a 2.5 -litre, five-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the all new Passat churns out the maximum of 170bhp. The new Volkswagen Passat range has got 16, 17 and 18 inch alloy wheel options, leather seats, electric seat adjustment, radio-navigation system, front fog lights along with static cornering lights, climate control, key-less access engine starting and locking system. Equipped with improved drivability, comfortable seating, and the advanced features, the all new Passat leaves no stone unturned and it has everything to give a neck to neck competition to the Toyota Camry.
